Observable Reading: Wendy Trevino & Nathaniel Farrell

The Observable Reading Series, brought to you by St. Louis Poetry Center, welcomes poets to Dressel’s Public House on first Mondays. Reading begins at 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs loft of the restaurant. Suggested $5.00 donation at the door.
Wendy Trevino is the author of Cruel Fiction (Commune Editions, 2018). She hails from the Rio Grande Valley and works as a grant writer in San Francisco, California, where she lives.
Nathaniel Farrell was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania. He holds a doctorate in English Literature from Columbia University in New York City. He is the author of Newcomer, and Lost Horizon (forthcoming). He teaches composition at Washington University in St. Louis and hosts a weekly experimental music program on 88.1 KDHX. Farrell’s poetry has been published in 6×6, New York Nights, Greetings Magazine, VLAK, The Brooklyn Rail, and The Recluse. His collages have been exhibited at Bushel (Delhi, NY), and Some Other Ways — his collaborative poetic project with Jessica Baran on the first month of Trump’s presidency — was part of the World Chess Hall of Fame’s Imagery of Chess exhibition.
