DIRECTIONS
The Central West End is conveniently located in the heart of St. Louis near numerous area attractions including Forest Park, the Cathedral Basilica, the St. Louis Zoo, the St. Louis Science Center, the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Missouri History Museum, the Sheldon, the Fox, Powell Hall and more, and is just steps away from major area medical centers including BJC, St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children — St. Louis.
The Central West End is best accessed by I-64/40.
General directions to the Central West End
Exit I-64/40 at Kingshighway and head north. Turn right onto Lindell, Maryland Plaza, McPherson Avenue or Washington Boulevard to enter the CWE business district.
Directions to the Central West End from Lambert St. Louis International Airport
Take I-70 East to I-170 South; exit (left) onto I-64/40 East. Exit at Kingshighway and head north. Turn right onto Lindell, Maryland Plaza, McPherson Avenue or Washington Boulevard to enter the CWE business district.
Directions to the Central West End from the Convention Center
Go south on Broadway and take the ramp (right) onto I-64/40 West. Exit at Kingshighway and head north. Turn right onto Lindell Boulevard, Maryland Plaza, McPherson Avenue or Washington Boulevard to enter the CWE business district.
THE EUCLID SHUFFLE
The Central West End Business Community Improvement District and the Euclid South Community Improvement District are happy to bring back The Euclid Shuffle — two five-passenger electric cabs that run up and down Euclid Avenue, between Forest Park Parkway and Washington Avenue, providing free transportation to the CWE’s shops, restaurants and galleries.
Visitors can hop aboard The Euclid Shuffle by hailing the cab on the street, calling or texting 314-472-5383. The Euclid Shuffle is available from 5:30-10 p.m. on Thursdays, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 5:30-10 p.m. on Fridays and 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and 5:30-10 p.m. on Saturdays.
PUBLIC PARKING
Public parking is available at parking meters and in parking lots throughout the CWE.
Parking meters are in operation and enforced by the City of St. Louis. General hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Change and credit cards are accepted at pay stations and individual meters.
