Holiday Kick-Off
The Chase Park Plaza
Friday, November 22
4-6:30 p.m.
Kick-off the holiday season at The Chase Park Plaza! Bring the kiddos to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. Their infamous gingerbread village will be unveiled, carolers will sing, champagne and hot cocoa will be served, a HUGE giveaway winner will be announced, and they’ll end the night with a ceremonial tree lighting outside the hotel. This event is free and open to the public.
Celebrate the CWE Cocktail Party
Bar Italia
Friday, December 6
7-10 p.m.
Celebrate the Central West End and those who make it great at this annual party! Join the Central West End Association at Bar Italia for cocktails, delicious food, and even better company as they present the Polk and Renaissance awards to their outstanding award recipients:

Holiday on the Plaza

1-5 p.m.
Snow or shine, you’re invited to an afternoon of festive family entertainment at Holiday on the Plaza. Featuring holiday pony rides, visits with Santa, and performances by Bob Kramer’s Marionettes (at 2:30, 3:15 and 4 p.m.). Head indoors for holiday music and interactive experiences. Admission to the Indoor Workshop: new unwrapped toy or $5 per child. Plus, be sure to stick around for the Magical Tree Lighting at 5 p.m.
Central West End Window Walk
Saturdays in December: 7, 14 & 21
1-5 p.m.
Experience the magic of the holidays at the Central West End’s annual Window Walk, now in its 10th year. Window Walk is a month-long celebration, highlighting the many wonderful attributes of the holidays in the CWE — shopping at boutiques, enjoying seasonal libations and great meals at local restaurants, and strolling amidst elegantly decorated windows. Window Walk brings back the time-honored tradition formerly found in downtown windows and gives St. Louisans a great venue to experience the holidays.
Visitors can enjoy FREE holiday festivities, including carriage rides, ice carvings, carolers, s’mores, gift wrapping, pictures with Santa, live music, street performers and more! Plus, many of our CWE businesses will be hosting special Window Walk festivities and promotions each Saturday in December. For a full list of events, click here.
