Join projects+gallery to celebrate the completion of their summer-long mural project by Edo Rosenblith, Janie Bootsie Stamm, Yowshien Kuo, and WORK/PLAY!
Complimentary refreshments will be provided and this event is free and open to the public.
Edo Rosenblith is a compulsive draftsman who works in a verity of mediums: murals, painting, drawing, printmaking, and book arts. Throughout these methods of image making, Edo implements a cartoon vernacular as a way to reexamine both personal and historical narratives of trauma.
Janie Stamm is a craft based artist residing on the western banks of the Mississippi River in Saint Louis. Her work serves to document and preserve Florida’s cultural and environmental history in the face of climate change.
Yowshien Kuo was educated in both the U.S. and Taiwan and completed his MFA in 2014. Kuo is an active exhibiting artist living and working in St. Louis, Missouri. As of 2019, Yowshien became a co-owner of the artist run space, Monaco in St. Louis, exhibited at LVL3 in Chicago, Art + Landscape in Granite City, IL and Counterpublic with The Luminary in St. Louis.
WORK/PLAY is an interdisciplinary design duo based in St. Louis, MO. Kevin received a BFA in Graphic Communication from the University of Missouri St. Louis and currently enrolled at Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts, Washington University in St. Louis earning his MFA. Danielle is a conceptual artist, writer, and educator. Together, they combine illustration, minimal contemporary design along with experimental printmaking techniques into their art practice.
