Join artist Yuko Suga as she talks about her work, Checkmate: Series 1 Prototype, 2015, a chess set, board, and stand inspired by the recent upheavals in Saint Louis and other cities in the United States.  Suga will discuss her work and lead an activity exploring the choices we all make every day and how they inform our creative process. Participants will create a two-sided wearable work of art.
