Girl Power: Empowering Young Women Through Chess & Art

Celebrate Girl Power! Discover how the arts and chess promote selfawareness, develop self-confidence and motivate girls and young women to realize their potential, and achieve academic and personal success. Join Saint Louis-based photographer, clinical social worker and educator Cathy Lander-Goldberg and United States Chess Federation Executive Director, and 9 Queens co-founder, Jean Hoffman for an informal presentation and hands-on activities based on their successful programs.
