Artists Gregg Louis and Peter Manion will discuss their process and their contributions to “The Imagery of Chess: Saint Louis Artists.”

Louis explores concepts of luck and superstition through “Untitled (Chess Set),” a chess set made from cast bronze and body parts. In “Cosmic Zarathustra,” Manion blends elements of painting, drawing, sculpture and performance.

Following their remarks, attendees will have the opportunity to talk with the artists, ask questions and explore connections.
