Sip n’ Sketch: Portraits with Juan William Chávez

October 17, 2018   •   6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
  •   Cost: $5 – $10

Join artist Juan William Chávez for an evening of drawing inspired by “Harry Benson: Kings and Queens.”

The exhibition features iconic photographs of chess players and cultural icons of the 20th century. Bring a photo of your favorite celebrity or personal portrait and learn to use a grid method to enlarge and transfer the image on paper, creating a lifelike image unique to your sketching style. This program is open to drawing novices as well as those with previous experience. You’ll be surprised by the results!
