Stroll Along McPherson | CWE Art Stroll

As September ushers in a new season filled with cooler temperatures and changing leaves, it also brings exciting new developments down McPherson. Our neighborhood’s vibrant arts district is pillared by four world-class galleries: Duane Reed Gallery, Houska Gallery, Philip Slein Gallery, and projects+gallery, where you can spend hours examining exquisite paintings or thought-provoking sculptures.
All four galleries recently unveiled new exhibitions and we encourage you to come explore why the Central West End is at the heART of it all! On Saturday, September 18, you can spend the afternoon visiting all four galleries during the CWE Art Stroll, while also enjoying DIY craft workshops, live music, artist demonstrations, street performances, and more! Everyone meet Mischief Maker! The Cup recently partnered with Maryland Plaza and had a naming contest for this little cutie. There were so many fantastic names to choose from! The Mischief Maker Cupcake is available THIS WEEK ONLY at their CWE location, Monday 9/13 through Saturday 9/18. Featuring lemon cake, strawberry buttercream, and Sour Patch crumbles, this is one cupcake you don’t want to miss!
See How Many Owls You Can Spot | CWE Scavenger Hunt

Our 2nd CWE Scavenger Hunt is officially underway! Grab your kids, a significant other, friend, or coworker and see how many mini owls you can spot, hiding around the Central West End.
How To Play
- Now through September 30 — safely search for mini ceramic owls, hidden inside participating CWE businesses. (CLICK HERE for clues on each location).
- Snap a photo of each owl you find (in the window or inside each location).
- Once you find eight owls or more, email your photos to marketing@cwenorthcid.com to win a $50 gift card to a CWE business of your choice! (Limit one gift card per person).
