Work up an appetite at PLNK and reward yourself afterwards with a snack at Yellowbelly! From now until September 15, Happy Hour is only $12 for PLNK CWE athletes who attend the 4 or 5 p.m. classes during the week. You can pick up this postcard at the front desk after your class. That quivering sweat session might be a little bit easier, knowing you’ve got a daiquiri waiting for you!
Meet & Greet Your Favorite Chess Players | Saint Louis Chess Club

The best chess players in the world are in St. Louis this month, competing in the 2019 Sinquefield Cup. Tonight, you can meet and greet your favorite players during a special autograph session at the Saint Louis Chess Club. You are welcome to bring your own items to be autographed, and singable merchandise will be available for purchase. Due to time constraints, each person will be allowed one autograph per player. In order to accommodate as many attendees as possible, photos with players will not be allowed. Please arrive early to reserve your space.

You’re invited to the Grand Opening of Fields Foods in the CWE, located at 625 N Euclid. The party kicks off tonight at 6 p.m. Enjoy $2 draft beer, $3 wine, and free snacks. Take a tour of the store and enter for a chance to win gift cards and more. Don’t forget to wear your pajamas!

This Friday, begin your evening in the Central West End at Atrium Gallery. They are hosting an Opening Reception for their new exhibition “Textures.” This extensive exhibit will feature work by 10 different artists, who all use texture in their work. While mostly consisting of 2-dimensional works with collage and textured surfaces, the exhibition will also feature sculpture and new earthenware works.
