We’ve had a lot of fun with our Spectacular Saturdays this summer — and we hope you have enjoyed them as well! One of our performers, Tom “Too-Me” Eggars, shared a heartwarming story from the last Summer Saturday.

“Too-Me” and his performing partner, Matthias Staley, are classically-trained clowns, who perform partner acrobatics, juggling, unicycling and audience tricks, among other things. Tom writes of his Saturday:

A 17 year old girl was sitting by herself, looking rather glum. The two of us decided to try and cheer her up. It turned out that she was just released from the hospital, as she is battling leukemia. It took a little persistence, but we finally got her to crack a smile and laugh a bit as she joined us for some tricks.
