Are you looking for something to do this holiday weekend? There is always something to enjoy in the Central West End! Join us for the last day of Window Walk, explore our shops to find your last-minute gifts, sit down for a bite at one of our many restaurants, visit a new business and more. Here are five things we’re highlighting this weekend in the CWE.
CWE Window Walk
Join us this Saturday for the final day of Window Walk. From 1-5 p.m., enjoy free holiday festivities, including ice carvings, trolley rides, carolers, live music, street performers, s’mores, kettle corn and more. Inside participating retailers and restaurants, enjoy a variety of fun activities and promotions. This year the event will also have a holiday market featuring small businesses from around St. Louis. Additionally, the CID has partnered with St. Louis-area designers and artists who have decorated must-see storefronts spreading holiday cheer throughout the neighborhood. View the full schedule for Saturday here.
Have a Festive Drink| AC Hotel
If you’re in the mood for a festive drink, visit the AC Bar & Lounge inside the AC Hotel. They’re offering three delicious, exclusive cocktails for the holiday season. Try Rudolph’s Margarita, made of Casamigos Tequila, Cointreau, cranberry juice, cotton candy and glittered cranberries to garnish; Kevin!!!, made of AC homemade eggnog, Disaronno Liqueur, star anise and brown sugar to garnish and Seasons in Missouri, made of Don Julio Tequila Anejo, Big O Ginger Liqueur, Mathilda Liqueur and sugar dusting to garnish. After strolling the neighborhood and enjoying the Window Walk festivities, wrap your day up in the CWE with one of these drinks.
Go to a Yoga Class| Central West End Yoga
Central West End Yoga recently opened in the neighborhood. Whether you’re a long-time practicer or interested in trying yoga for the first time, they have something for you. Classes on Saturday include Community Yoga Hour, Yoga Sculpt and Deep Stretch. Classes on Sunday include Slow Flow, Yoga Sculpt and Restorative Yoga. The classes have a maximum of 10 people, making it a less intimidating and more personalized experience. They have a new student intro offer of five classes for $50, a terrific deal that will allow you to explore their various class types and find your flow.
Try Limited-Time Items| Panera Bread
Whether you’re out in the neighborhood for Window Walk, getting last-minute shopping done or hungry after a stroll, Panera Bread is a great place to refuel. Stop in to try their limited-time Ciabatta Dippers. Their French Ciabatta Dipper is a delicious sandwich dipping pair featuring tender, marinated steak, provolone, asiago and garlic aioli drizzle with Bistro French Onion Soup. The Spicy Chicken Ciabatta Dipper features grilled chicken, creamy salsa verde spread and provolone paired with Creamy Tomato Soup. This is the perfect lunch to warm you up on these colder winter days.
Pamper Yourself Before the Holiday| Philip Johnson Salon/Spa
Do you need a last-minute haircut before the holiday? Book an appointment at Philip Johnson Salon/Spa to get a fresh cut or color that will impress your family and friends. They also have a limited amount of spa treatment spots left before the holiday to help you feel and look your best. Popular spa treatment options include the Glymed+ Signature Facial, Glow Getter Facial, Aveda Signature Massage and more. Book after the holiday for a relaxing reset. If you’re still on the hunt for gifts, pick up a gift card so that your loved one can choose their preferred treatment.
