You don’t have to drink alcohol to enjoy a crafted cocktail experience at home this Dry January.
Yellowbelly, the St. Louis restaurant from the same team as Lazy Tiger cocktail bar and Retreat Gastropub, has launched a line of nonalcoholic cocktails for pickup on Fridays in January. The zero-gravity cocktails are $20 each and contain 16 ounces, or four servings, to enjoy at home.
Tim Wiggins, Yellowbelly’s beverage director and co-owner, has worked to develop a blend of hydrosols, or “botanic water,” for the line to ensure the zero-alcohol drinks are more cocktail-like than a plain old juice or tea.
