Safely Celebrate Spring | CWE Back in Bloom

Saturday, April 10 & Sunday, April 11

The Central West End is back in bloom! This weekend — shop, dine, and explore the CWE with our beautiful tulips as the backdrop. Enjoy live music and roaming street performers as you safely stroll through the neighborhood. On Saturday, be sure to stop by Rudy’s Flower Truck (at the corner of Maryland & Euclid) from 11-3 p.m. to create your very own spring bouquet. Plus, many CWE businesses are offering special deals and discounts, only available this weekend. For a full list of participating businesses and offers, click here.

Embark on a Scavenger Hunt | CWE Back in Bloom

CWE Scavenger Hunt Kicks Off Saturday, April 10

Looking for something fun to do with the kids, your significant other, or a friend? Starting this weekend during Back in Bloom, you can embark on fun-filled Scavenger Hunt through the Central West End! From April 10 through May 9 — safely search for these mini garden gnomes, hidden inside participating CWE businesses. Find six or more gnomes (and send your photos to marketing@cwenorthcid.com) and you’ll win a $50 CWE gift card. Clues for each location will be shared on the CWEscene website on Friday, April 9. Check back then for all the details.

Enjoy Brunch on the Patio | Kingside Diner

All Weekend Long

One of the Central West End’s most prominent patios is no longer vacant! Kingside Diner is now open at their new location on the corner of Maryland and Euclid (236 N Euclid). All your favorite dishes are still available (like the Meat Me in St. Louis skillet) and you’ve also got some new options to explore “After Dark” — they are now open until 11 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. Check out their new digs this weekend and enjoy brunch (or dinner) on the patio.

Enjoy a Sweet Treat & Help Make a Difference | Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams

All Weekend Long

Have you heard the news? Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has collaborated on a limited-edition flavor with the one-and-only Dolly Parton! Strawberry Pretzel Pie is their ode to the Queen of Country and a throwback to the triple decker pie from the potlucks of our youths. Layers of salty pretzel streusel, subtly sweet and effortlessly tangy cream cheese ice cream, and lipstick red strawberry sauce. This flavor will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a book gifting program that gives free books to children from birth to age five. Don’t miss your chance to try this sweet treat before it’s gone!
