Opening Reception: “M.C. Escher” | The World Chess Hall of Fame

Explore the mind-bending, mathematical, and metamorphic works of world-famous graphic artist M.C. Escher. This exhibition features an extensive collection of drawings, mezzotints, lithographs, and woodcuts, which blend and blur constructs inspired by impossible worlds, the intricacies of nature, and the infinity of chess. Enjoy complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres during the Opening Reception.

Cinco de Mayo Weekend Celebration | El Burro Loco

Who says Cinco de Mayo festivities should be one day only? Celebrate all weekend long at El Burro Loco. They’re kicking things off on Friday with sample shots, drink specials, and a mariachi band! The festivities continue throughout the weekend, with three different DJ’s spinning tunes on Sunday. Sunday festivities will also include free tequila samples and shot specials. This is one party you won’t want to miss!

This Friday, pop into Atrium Gallery for the Opening Reception of their Spring/Summer Exhibition: “P&D”- Prints & Drawings.” Works on paper often seen as fresh and delicate, and sometimes reserved for warm seasonal presentations, are nicely combined for a very interesting exhibition featuring work by five national and international artists. (Suzanne Caporael, Annette Morris, Stephen Namara, Francisca Sutil, and Ruby Rumie)

CWE Sounds of Summer Music Series | Maryland & Euclid, McPherson & Euclid

We’re celebrating the return of warmer weather with our CWE Sounds of Summer Music Series. Every Friday night from 6-9 p.m., sip, shop and stroll throughout the neighborhood, all while listening to the sounds of local musicians. In addition, on the First Friday of the month from May-September, several CWE retailers will be extending their hours to give you more opportunities to shop local.
