Enjoy an Allergen-Free Dinner at The BHIVE

If your allergies make dining out difficult, there’s a special event this Friday just for you! The BHIVE at Brennan’s is hosting an Allergen-Free Dinner, as part of their “This is Not a Restaurant” series.

They’ve teamed up with the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America’s St. Louis Chapter and Chef Brian Hale to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Chef Hale, previously Executive Chef of Chase Park Plaza and Monarch, will be creating a one-night-only, delicious 5-course menu that is made without any of the “Big-8” Food Allergies: Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Fish, Crustacean Shellfish, and Wheat. The inspiration for this event was to spread awareness of food allergies, create a unique event that is accessible to those with food allergies, and demonstrate that eating with food allergies can still be delicious.

The dinner will be intimate with only two seatings available (6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.). Tickets are $125 and include the meal, tax, tip, and a donation to the AAFA-STL.

Guests may purchase an optional beverage pairing to go with the meal, or order beer, wine and cocktails a la carte from The BHIVE bar menu. This is the 36th “This is Not a Restaurant Dinner” hosted by The BHIVE. These dinners provide an exclusive opportunity to see what a rotating list of select chefs can do when the gloves come off.
