5 Things to Do This Weekend in the CWE: Sept. 6-8

Who’s ready to enjoy this beautiful weekend? Head to the Central West End if you like live jazz music, movies, shopping, dining and more. We have something in the neighborhood for everyone. If you’re in need of weekend plans, here are five things to do in the CWE.

CWE Jazz & Blues Festival

Join us in the CWE this Saturday, Sept. 7 from 3-8 p.m. for the CWE Jazz & Blues Festival! You will hear lively, entertaining music from six of St. Louis’ finest local jazz and blues talents. You’ll also have several options for food and drink. Two CWE restaurants, Saigon Cafe and Brasserie by Niche, will have pop-up tents, offering some of their delicious drinks and food. There will also be a food truck. Seating is not provided, so please bring your own chairs. See a Movie| Chase Park Plaza Cinemas

Interested in seeing the latest movie releases? Visit Chase Park Plaza Cinemas to see the new, R-Rated mystery-thriller, “Blink Twice” starring Channing Tatum and directed by Zoë Kravitz. Also showing is the highly anticipated sequel, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”, starring Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara and Jenna Ortega. This fun, spooky movie will get you in the mood for Halloween. Also showing is the drama “Sing Sing”, starring Colman Domingo. If you haven’t had the chance to see “Deadpool & Wolverine” with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, there are several showtimes available.
