It’s another great weekend to spend in the CWE! Whether you’re interested in shopping, trying new foods or listening to live music, this neighborhood has something for everyone. Check out this weekend’s five things to do in the Central West End.
Kickstart Your Day With Fall-Flavored Coffee| Kaldi’s
Begin your day in the CWE with coffee at Kaldi’s! If you’re feeling adventurous, why not try a new order? Kaldi’s has several fall-flavored coffees for you to enjoy. Try the Baked Maple Pumpkin Latte, the Spiced Apple Latte or the Spiced Apple Chai. Although their pumpkin bread is here year-round, order a slice with your coffee to really put yourself in the perfect autumn mood.
Shop a Special Collection| Brilliant Earth
Visit Brilliant Earth this weekend to check out the Brilliant Earth x Jane Goodall Collection, featuring unique, limited-edition pieces. The collection draws inspiration from the landscapes of Tanzania and the banana leaf. Each piece is crafted from recycled gold and features Brilliant Earth’s Capture Collection lab diamonds. Additionally, 10% of the net proceeds will benefit the Jane Goodall Legacy Foundation Fund to support conservation, research and education programs. Do you love the leaf pendant (pictured)? Three lucky winners will be selected to win a pendant from the Jane Goodall Collection. When you visit the store, scan a QR code featured on kiosk signage to enter. No purchase is necessary. See their website for details.
Dine Out| Saigon Cafe
Looking to dine out this weekend? Visit Saigon Cafe to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Try Rice Vermicelli, one of the culture’s staple dishes. This is just one of many flavorful options to enjoy; you’ll have trouble deciding between their many starters, soups, noodles and entrees. While savoring your meal, try one of Mixed By Eddie’s award-winning cocktails. If the weather is nice, enjoy your meal out on their patio and take in the sights and sounds of the neighborhood.
Prepare Your Pup for the Halloween Party| Wolfgang’s Pet Stop
Are you planning to bring your pup to the CWE Halloween Party? The pet parade kicks off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, followed by dog games on the main stage at the intersection of Euclid Ave. and Maryland Ave. If you’d like to compete for a prize, prepare your pup with the Tricks Class at Wolfgang’s, starting Sunday, Oct. 13 and running through Sunday, Oct. 27. Your dog will learn 20 new tricks in three one-hour sessions for $100. Classes are on Sundays from 12-1 p.m. for dogs less than 20 pounds and Sundays 1-2 p.m. for dogs over 20 pounds. To learn more, visit their website. Already feeling prepared for the dog games? Make sure to book an appointment for a bath and/or cut ahead of the event so that your pup is looking their best!
Have a Scoop of Ice Cream| Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams

Jeni’s offers their seasonal Sweet Potato Marshmallow Praline ice cream as the perfect autumn bliss, sweet, crunchy dessert. You can get your scoop in a cup or order it in their delicious Buttercrisp Waffle Cone. Enjoy your treat in the fun atmosphere of Jeni’s or take it with you as you explore the neighborhood.
