5 Things to Do This Weekend in the CWE: June 21-23

In need of weekend plans? Spend your weekend in the Central West End! Whether you’re interested in shopping at our many retailers, grabbing a bite to eat out, listening to live music or something else, there’s something in the neighborhood for everyone to enjoy. Here are this weekend’s five things to do in the CWE.

Visit a Vintage Market| Euclid Vintage

On Friday, June 21 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., join Euclid Vintage for their first mini vintage market! They will have a curated selection of vintage clothing from their store, as well as hosting several other vendors. Browse a unique collection of tops, bottoms and more. This is an amazing opportunity to add clothing to your wardrobe that no one else has.

Dine Out| HiTea

Visit HiTea on Friday or Saturday, present this graphic and you’ll receive 20% off your entire order. If you’re in the mood for Asian cuisine, head over to try some of their starters and wide selection of entrees. Begin with their spring rolls, tempura vegetables or chicken buns. For an entree, try one of their six types of ramen. Make sure you also have one of their drinks, like the brown sugar boba fresh milk tea or dragon fruit jasmine tea.

Shop Summer Fruit| Straub’s Market

Craving fresh fruit? Straub’s now has Lori Anne peaches in stock, fresh from South Carolina. These peaches are sweet, juicy and fragrant; they’re special because they are left on the trees to ripen longer than most. Besides these peaches, you’ll find additional pre-cut fruit, cut fresh in the store. Celebrate the official start of summer with all your fresh favorites.

Enjoy Brunch with Live Music| Evangeline’s Bistro

Want to enjoy live music as you dine? Visit Evangeline’s Bistro for Saturday Brunch or Sunday Hot Swing Jazz Brunch from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. On Saturdays you’ll listen to local musicians play folk music, blues and more. Sundays features swing jazz and barrelhouse piano from Miss Jubilee and the Yas Yas boys. While enjoying the tunes, make sure to also have some hot, hand-rolled beignets and bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys.

Find a New Suit| Suitsupply

With wedding season here, you may be in need of a new suit. Head to Suitsupply to browse their selection of suits in a variety of colors, fabrics and fits. Check out their summer wool silk linen suits that are a tailored fit available in a variety of colors and several patterns. You may also like their all season pure tropical wool which comes in a versatile range of colors and is a great piece for multiple occasions.
