Red Lantern City Night Market
This Saturday from 4-11 p.m., head to the CWE to enjoy the Red Lantern Night Market. The event celebrates Asian culture with delicious food and refreshing drinks from a variety of local vendors. Make sure to enjoy bites from some of your favorite CWE restaurants participating, like Saigon Cafe, Poke Doke and Drunken Fish. There will also be a variety of entertainment honoring different Asian traditions and heritage. For more info, visit here.
National Ice Cream Day
Celebrate National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 21 at Clementine’s Creamery and Jeni’s Ice Creams. At Clementine’s, try their World’s Fair Collection, in collaboration with the Missouri History Museum, that will be available that day. The collection includes four new flavors: Fairy Floss, cotton candy ice cream with a crunch from pop rocks sprinkled throughout; Vegan Waffle Cone-A-Copia, caramel coconut ice cream with waffle cone nuggets enveloped in dark chocolate bark; Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis, harvested corn ice cream with clusters of buttered corn flakes and Banana Split. If they sell out of these flavors, Clementine’s won’t be making more, so stop by the parlor Sunday and enjoy!
Visit Jeni’s on Sunday to enjoy ice cream in their famous Buttercrisp Waffle Cones. Choose from one of your favorite flavors or try something new like the Spice Cream Signature. This includes Darkest Chocolate, Double Dough and Salty Caramel ice creams topped with Fly By Jing’s Chili Crisp and served in a waffle cone. Chili Crisp is a hot sauce that’s spicy and savory, perfect for those wanting a whole new dimension of flavor.
