Attend a Book Discussion| Left Bank Books
On Saturday at 6 p.m., Left Bank Books will host author Bonnie Jo Campbell to discuss her new book “The Waters”, about an eccentric herbalist who healed women on the island for generations and inspires reverence and fear. After, you can meet Campbell and have her sign your copy! If you enjoyed “Where the Crawdads Sing”, then this book may be for you. In addition, Amanda Jokerst, herbalist and owner of Forest & Meadow Herbal Shop and Clinic will join them to answer herbal medicine questions and some of her products will be for sale. Want to get out of the house to watch The Big Game this Sunday? Twisted Ranch will host a watch party that you’ll want to be part of. They’ll show the game on 14 TVs and both bars will be open.
