Not sure what to do this weekend? The Central West End has plenty to offer for folks of all ages. Whether you’re interested in shopping, finding somewhere new to eat, trying a new workout class or something else, you’ll find it all in the CWE. Here are five ways we suggest you spend your weekend in the neighborhood.
Attend a Work Out Class| Pure Barre St. Louis
Join Pure Barre for their Open House, where all classes are free for non-members on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, they’ll have classes starting at 7:30 a.m., with the last class starting at 10:30 a.m. On Sunday, the first class starts at 9 a.m. and the last class at 4 p.m. You must reserve your spot. Call them at 314-932-5611 or email your preferred class time, name and phone number to centralwestend@purebarre.com to check availability and secure a spot. They’ll also have retail discounts and snacks. Stop by on Sunday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. because Lala Links will be in studio, offering elegant and simple permanent jewelry.
Back to School Cut
If your kiddo is headed back to school, bring them by one of our hair salons to get a fresh haircut. Visit Philip Johnson Salon & Spa or Paul Mitchell The School St. Louis for everything from a trim to a completely new hairstyle. They both offer other services including hair color, braiding and hair styling. With skilled stylists at both salons, your child will have a good experience. They will leave feeling and looking their best, ready to take on the new school year.
Try Limited-Time Items| Main Squeeze Juice Co.
If you haven’t been to Main Squeeze Juice Co. in a while, you’ll want to stop by this weekend. For a limited-time, they’re offering the Passion Twist Smoothie, made of almost milk, passion fruit sorbet, mango, blue spirulina, pitaya and whipping cream, and the Passion Twist Sorbet, which includes fresh strawberries and granola on top. Both of these make for a tasty, yet healthy snack.
Shop New Arrivals| Bluemercury
Visit Bluemercury to check out all their new arrivals. You’ll find makeup products like the Lune+Aster Vitamin C+E Lip Gloss in several shades of pink and the Unreal Hourglass Liquid Blush in a variety of shades. If you’re looking for skincare, checkout the M-61 Power Pore Refining Mask. These are only a few of the many makeup, skincare and hair products and accessories that Bluemercury offers. With so much to choose from, you’re sure to find your new favorite products here.
Dine Outside| Bar Italia
Interested in dining outside this weekend? The CWE has plenty of options. If you’re in the mood for some Italian cuisine, head to Bar Italia. You can enjoy all your favorites like bruschetta, caprese salad, ragu alla Bolognese and cheese tortellini. Enjoy these delicious dishes, but make sure you save room for a drink and dessert. Dine on their scenic patio, under twinkling lights and surrounded by greenery to make your experience even better. For a list of more CWE restaurant patios, visit here.
