Are you ready to enjoy a long weekend? The Central West End offers something for people of all ages. Head to the neighborhood to explore our shops, try new cuisine, listen to live music and more. Here are five ways to spend your weekend in the CWE!
CWE Summer Music Series
Enjoy live music throughout the Central West End on Fridays and Saturdays from 6-9 p.m.. As you stroll the neighborhood, you’ll hear a variety of music from local performers. If you dine outside at several restaurants, you’ll enjoy this special elevated ambience along with delicious French or Vietnamese food. Friday’s performers include Farshid Etniko Trio at the corner of Euclid and McPherson, Andy Coco at the corner of Euclid and Maryland, Joanna Serenko outside Saigon Cafe, Shai Lynn outside Brasserie by Niche and Phoinix Keys/Rhoda G. outside Whole Foods.
Have a Pint Out| Rosie’s Place
Looking for a place to gather with friends this weekend and just relax? Grab a drink together at Rosie’s Place and sit inside or on their patio. You’ll enjoy a delicious beer or cocktail for an affordable price. Rosie’s offers a laidback, unique neighborhood atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else. Unwind after work or cap off the night with a stop there.
Pamper Your Pup| Wolfgang’s Pet Stop
If you’re pup needs a final summer trim, book an appointment at Wolfgang’s Pet Stop! Whether you want your dog’s hair cut or you’re just looking to get them bathed and brushed, Wolfgang’s has a service for you. If you have a new puppy, you can also sign up for group training classes which begin the second weekend of September. The class sizes are small, and this is a great opportunity for you and your puppy to learn in a calm, supportive environment. You can find more information on their website.
