5 Things to Do This Weekend in the CWE: April 5-7

A lot is happening in the CWE this weekend and we hope you’ll join us! From our annual Back in Bloom event on Saturday that features entertainment, discounts and more, to family-fun and special shopping events, there’s plenty to do the entire weekend. As you explore the neighborhood, make sure you stop in our retailers and restaurants to check out new items they’re offering. See you this weekend!

Back in Bloom

Join us on Saturday, April 6 from 12-4 p.m. for Back in Bloom! As we celebrate the return of spring and the tulips, we’ll have live music, street performers, face painting, complimentary cotton candy and more! Stroll throughout the neighborhood, enjoying the colorful tulips and make sure you also stop by our stores and restaurants to check out their promotions. From participating businesses, you can get everything from complimentary drinks to major discounts. Check out our event page to learn more about this event that is perfect for adults and kids alike.

Shop a Pop-Up| East • West

After enjoying the festivities of Back in Bloom, hang around the neighborhood and attend East • West’s pop up on Saturday from 5-10 p.m. They’ll host Seller UPC, local curators that have amassed a collection of archived, vintage and re-worked items. This is an exclusive opportunity to pick out unique pieces for your wardrobe! As you’re shopping you can also enjoy complimentary drinks from Rockwell Beer Company.

Try Spring Flavors| Clementine’s Creamery

Have you had the chance to visit Clementine’s and try their new spring ice cream flavors? If not, this weekend is a great time to go. As you’re enjoying Back in Bloom, pop in the parlor to enjoy a scoop or two. Their new additions include “Cicada Crunch”, a lime ice cream; “Mounds of Coconut”, a vegan coconut ice cream; carrot cake, a cream cheese ice cream and pistachio ice cream. More of a sorbet lover? You’ll want to try their roasted pineapple sorbet, made of fresh pineapple and a touch of brown sugar.

Play Arcade Games| Up-Down STL

Looking for a unique night out with friends or with a date? Head to Up-Down where you can enjoy a variety of retro arcade games along with delicious drinks! Whether you’re interested in a simple beer or crafty cocktail, you’ll find something good to sip on. You can play one-on-one games or games perfect for larger groups. If you’ve ever thought that your kids would like the games at Up-Down, bring them by this Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for Family Hours. In addition to playing the games, your little ones can also enjoy pizza and kid-friendly drinks.

Get a New Book| Left Bank Books

Are you making progress on your Goodreads list? No matter if you’re tracking your reading goal this year or you’re just in the mood for a new book, it’s always a great time to stop by Left Bank Books. Reminder as you’re traveling around the CWE this weekend, that transportation is now easier thanks to the Euclid Shuffle! If you do not wish to walk, or you parked far away, you don’t need to let that stop you from exploring the neighborhood. You can take a FREE ride along Euclid Ave. from Forest Park Ave. to Washington Ave. You can call or text the shuttle for a ride. Hop aboard!
