The Culinary Institute of America will host an open house for prospective students from 7 -9 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 2, at Herbie’s Vintage 72. The “CIA” is one of the leading culinary schools in the United States.

Students will have the opportunity to get to know this culinary school at Herbie’s, from where owner and former executive chef Aaron Teitelbaum graduated in 2001. Students will learn about admissions and financial aid information and hear from local alumni about the value of a CIA degree.

The college features programs educating students in everything from the research and development side of the industry to food styling and food writing.

Light appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages served and included in the cost of admission.
