The Saint Louis Chess Club will run a scholastic chess tournament on Lichess.org.

The three sections are as follows: the Rook Section is for experienced tournament players with established USCF ratings; the Bishop Section is for tournament players with less experience; the Novice Section is for players new to tournament chess.

This is an Arena style tournament. Players play as many games as possible during the total time allotted for the tournament. Each section of the tournament requires a password for entry.

Once registered, Scholastics department will send you a password to complete your entry on Lichess.org.

Prizes

For each section the top three players by total points will be awarded a free online chess lesson by the Grandmaster in Residence from the Saint Louis Chess Club.

Honest and fair play is required for players to receive prizes. This tournament is not US Chess rated but will affect your Lichess.org rating.
