Let the good times roll at the second annual Central West End Fat Tuesday Celebration. We’re bringing the sounds of New Orleans to the CWEscene!
On Tuesday, February 25, join in the Central West End Second Line Parade, led by Saint Boogie Brass Band and the Normandy High School Marching Band. Meet at the intersection of Euclid and Washington at 5:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for “Best Dressed” during the event.
After parading through the neighborhood, continue the festivities at one of the CWE’s amazing restaurants or bars. Grab your friends and family and celebrate Fat Tuesday in style, right here in the Central West End.

The Cup– The Cup’s Cuppa Coffee Cake is masquerading as a Mardi Gras King Cake, just in time for the festivities! Their King Cake is a sour cream coffee cake, topped with cinnamon streusel, sugar glaze drizzle, purple, gold and green sugar and a royal topper – the perfect treat for indulging on Fat Tuesday!
Drunken Fish– Enjoy one FREE regular appetizer with a minimum purchase of $25. Just mention this offer and they’ll apply the discount!
Evangeline’s Bistro & Music House– They are hosting a “King Cake Festival” from 11 a.m. to midnight. Find the Mardi Gras baby and get a free appetizer!
Gamlin Whiskey House– Enjoy drink specials from 3-6 p.m. — the first 50 people to join in the party will receive a free shirt (with drink purchase)!
Pi Pizzeria– Enjoy Happy Hour all night long. Ask for their specialty cocktail that evening: The 2nd Punch, featuring light rum, dark rum, pineapple juice, lime juice, orange juice, simple syrup, grenadine, and 3 lime wheels.
Sub Zero Vodka Bar– Enjoy drink specials from 3-6 p.m. — the first 50 people to join in the party will receive a free shirt (with drink purchase)!
