Plan Your 2018 BookFest St. Louis Schedule

St. Louis’ most exciting literary event is back!

BookFest St. Louis returns to the Central West End on September 21-22, and will feature an exciting mix of author events and activities highlighting the best in sci-fi, memoirs, mystery, young adult fiction and more.

Headlining the book festival is three-time Emmy Award-winning actress Sally Field, who will speak during a ticketed engagement at The Chase Park Plaza on Sept. 21. She will discuss her new book, “In Pieces,” a deeply searing memoir about being a woman – a famous woman – in the last half of the 20th century. We are excited to announce that all attendees who purchase tickets to this event will receive an AUTOGRAPHED hardcover copy of “In Pieces.” To purchase tickets, click here.

Other can’t-miss events include “Wit & Wine With Gary Shteyngart,” an exclusive presentation by the New York Times bestselling author; “Speak Out: A Spoken Word Poetry Showcase,” featuring performances by three local poets; and “A View From The Heartland: A Conversation With Sarah Kendzior And Sarah Smarsh.”

In between BookFest St. Louis author events, be sure to check out the McPherson/Euclid Avenue festival zone, featuring live music, demonstrations, book sellers, local artisans and more! Open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, the festival zone is free and open to the public!
