Opening Reception: 5th Anniversary Exhibitions

The World Chess Hall of Fame is celebrating five years in St. Louis!

screen-shot-2016-09-15-at-10-41-13-amJoin the WCHOF for an evening of art, music and celebration. Guests will enjoy three new fall exhibitions and world-class musical entertainment. Chief curator Shannon Bailey will welcome guests beginning at 7 P.M. in the first-floor gallery and food and drink will be offered throughout the campus.

New exhibitions include:

  • Animal, Vegetable, Mineral: Natural Splendors from the Chess Collection of Dr. George & Vivian Dean (runs through March 12, 2017)
  • Designing Chessmen: A Taste of the Imagery of Chess (runs through March 12, 2017)
  • Open Files: Celebrating 5 Years of Collecting (runs through March 26, 2017)
