On Tuesday, March 5 — the sounds of New Orleans could be heard all throughout the neighborhood, during the first-ever CWE Fat Tuesday Celebration.

Despite the cold temperature, spirits stayed high as Saint Boogie Brass Band, Jennings High School Band and McCluer South-Berkeley High School Band entertained crowds all the way down Euclid. Attendees were able to join the Second Line Parade, and many guests could be seen sporting purple, green and gold beads throughout the afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold, and especially to our musicians who helped liven up the neighborhood on Fat Tuesday! We hope you enjoyed the festivities.
